This is our domain: Since 1950, ZANDER offers a reliable safety and control technology in the area of industrial, mechanical and plant engineering. In the early years, the focus was on micro switches and mechanical cam controllers that have been a part of the product portfolio till date with great success.

The dynamic expansion of the new enterprise induced the company founder, Hermann Zander, to shift to larger business premises; in 1967, the large company site at Am Gut Wolf in Aachen was acquired, where the company‘s head office is located today.

Since 1980, our production program has been expanded with electronic products from the area of control technology. Continuous innovation, a high degree of creativity and customer proximity have always been important features of our
company philosophy. This has given rise to a new area: ZANDER - a competent engineering partner for tailor-made, customer-specific developments and production focusing on safety & automatic machines.

The word „Industry 4.0“ is currently on everyone’s lips – we make it accessible and real. In our view Industry 4.0 stands for optimization of the machines communication structure and processes, meaning networking possibilities from undermost processing level to the master computer.

Industry 4.0 as well stands for an optimization of the Human-Machine interaction, for example the visualization of a digital process twin, as well as the automatization and flexibilization of the operator in connection with our human machine interface (HMI).
